The early weigh-ins are over in advance of UFC Newark, and two of the schedule competitors came in heavy for their bouts.

Headliners Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler made weight for their fight, as the welterweights came in at 171 and 170 respectively.

Dong Hyun Ma was two pounds over for his bout with lightweight Scott Holtzman, and Cole Williams came in five pounds over for his fight with welterweight Claudio Silva.
