UFC on FOX 12 Weigh-In Results: Matt Brown Heavy for Headliner but Title Shot Chance Remains
By FCF Staff
Here are the official weigh-in results for UFC on FOX 12, which will feature a welterweight, title shot eliminator between Robbie Lawler and Matt Brown.
Brown came in at 172.5 for the fight, but was reportedly informed by the California Commission that he would not be allowed to make a second attempt. Due to the miscommunication, as fighters are typically allotted more time to cut the extra weight in California, Brown will not be fined. In addition, his chance to secure a title shot remains.
Strawweight Juliana Lima was over for her bout with Joanna Jedrzejczyk, but also wasn’t allowed to make a second attempt. Lima will not be fined either.
UFC on FOX 12 will be hosted by the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
