Rafael dos Anjos has done nothing but impress, since he returned to welterweight earlier this year, but Robbie Lawler is clearly feeling pretty good about his chances, of winning their bout Saturday.

The former welterweight champ will face dos Anjos in the headliner of UFC on FOX 26, which will go down on December 16th in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lawler appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight“, and while discussing the fact dos Anjos is a southpaw, the veteran said this (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“It’s not that big a deal. We have a lot of lefties getting me ready. It’s just a hand coming in differently. I’ve been fighting and training with lefties a long time, so I’ll be alright.”

And in terms of whether Lawler believes he’ll have a size and strength advantage over RDA?

“He’ll be quick. I’ve fought bigger fighters and stronger fighters. So anywhere this fight goes, I’ll be alright.”

Lawler is coming off a decision win over Donald Cerrone in July, while dos Anjos submitted Neil Magny in his last bout, which took place in September.
