UFC on FOX 5 Weigh-In Results: Nate Diaz Makes Weight After Three Attempts

It may have taken some extra time to make it official, but Saturday’s UFC on FOX 5 card will still feature a title fight between lightweight champ Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz in the main event.
Diaz reportedly came in at 155.6 on his first attempt to make weight this afternoon in Seattle, which is .6 above the allowed limit for a title fight, but was able to cut down to 155 shortly thereafter on his third attempt.
The champion Henderson came in at 154.6 on his first attempt.
Mike Easton also required extra time to make 135 pounds for his bantamweight bout with Raphael Assuncao, while lightweight Henry Martinez was unable to to make 156 and will forfeit part of his purse to Daron Cruickshank.
