The UFC’s latest card in Paris, France took place Saturday at the Accor Arena, and it saw Ciryl Gane record an impressive victory in the main event.

The former interim heavyweight champ faced noted grappler and rising contender, Serghei Spivac. Gane punished Spivac with kicks and punches from the opening bell and defended the latter’s takedown attempts. In round two, as Gane blasted Spivac with punches along the octagon fence, the fight was stopped.

Gane (12-2) was fighting for the first time since March, when he was quickly submitted by current champ, Jon Jones.
