Renato Moicano continued his climb up the UFC’s lightweight rankings today in Paris, France, by recording a TKO win over that nation’s Benoit Saint Denis.

Moicano took Saint Denis down not long into the main event, and pounded away at the lightweight with strikes from above. After the first round, Saint Denis was cut above his right eye and both eyes had considerable swelling around them.

Saint Denis managed to launch his own offence in round two, as he was able to stuff several takedown attempts from Moicano. But, after round two the cage side doctor determined the French fighter couldn’t see out of his right eye and the fight was called.

The Brazilian Moicano has won four straight fights.
