After defeating John Dodson for a second time this past weekend at UFC 191, Demetrious Johnson has taken another step towards the #1, pound-for-pound ranking spot.

Johnson worked his way to an impressive, unanimous decision win over over Dodson on Saturday, and in the latest UFC rankings, the flyweight champ is now #2 on the P4P list. “Mighty Mouse”, who has defended the 125 title seven times now, was ranked #3 heading into the event.

Middleweight champ Chris Weidman dropped from #2 to #3 as a result of Johnson’s rise.

Former flyweight John Lineker, who submitted Francisco Rivera at UFC 191, cracked the bantamweight rankings and is now positioned at #14.

UFC 191 was hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
