UFC Signs CM Punk to Multifight Deal
By FCF Staff
Just a few days after Dana White relayed that he’d be interested in talking to “CM Punk”, about signing the pro-wrestler, the UFC has announced its done just that.
The news was announced by UFC commentator Joe Rogan during tonight’s UFC 181 broadcast, alongside CM Punk. The former WWE competitor, who is legally named Phillip Brooks, is expected to make his UFC debut next year.
The pro wrestling star said that he hasn’t committed to weight class, but he believes middleweight is most likely.
Brooks, who is 36 years old, has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the past, but has no pro-MMA experience.
Welcome to the UFC @CMPunk! See you in 2015! https://t.co/X07ezdbmZl
