UFC Vegas 103 Result: Manel Kape Calls For Title Shot After Stopping Asu Almbayev

Manel Kape is calling on the UFC to tap him for a bout with flyweight champ Alexandre Pantoja, following his latest victory on Saturday night.
Kape faced surging contender Asu Almabayev in the headliner and recorded a TKO stoppage in round three. Before the fight’s final flurry of punches, replays appeared to show Almabayev incurred an eye poke, which had also happened earlier.
Kape, who was ranked #6 leading into Saturday’s card, moved his record to 21-7. Almabayev’s record fell to 21-3 with the defeat. The latter had won 17 straight heading into the fight and was ranked #8.
