Glover Teixeira likely moved into the #1 contender spot of the UFC’s light heavyweight division tonight, by submitting Thiago Santos at UFC Vegas 13.

Santos dropped Teixeira a couple of times in the headliner. But, Teixeira was able to score takedowns after being hurt and put his feared top game to work.

The 41-year-old contender secured a fight ending, rear-naked-choke in round three of the bout, which was his fifth, straight win.
