Caio Borralho continues to climb the UFC’s rankings, as the surging fighter defeated Jared Cannonier in the headliner of UFC Vegas 96.

The Brazilian fighter, who dropped Cannonier in round five, was awarded the fight by all three judges.

Heading into the event, Borralho was ranked #12 in the UFC’s middleweight rankings and Cannonier was in the #5 spot. 

With the win, Borralho moved his record to 17-1. Cannonier’s record now stands at 17-8.
