Brandon Royval ended Tatsuro Taira’s undefeated run at UFC Vegas 98, but the flyweight contender was pushed to his limits by the rising fighter.

Following five rounds of back-and-forth action, which featured many memorable exchanges on the ground, two of the three judges awarded the fight to Royval.

With the win, Royval moved his record to 17-7, while Taira’s now sits at 16-1.
