World Series of Fighting has announced it has added several more fighters to its growing roster, including UFC veteran Brian Foster.
The 29 year-old Foster (19-6) joins the promotion having gone 4-1 in his last five bouts. During his run in the UFC, Foster scored a win over welterweight contender Matt Brown and went 3-2.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to compete in the WSOF,” Foster said. “The company continues to sign great talent, and I’m happy to be a part of the team and take this chance to rise to my true potential. I just want to show the world what I’m capable of when I’m at my best, and this is a great place to do it.”
No details regarding when Foster will make his WSOF debut was included. The other fighters WSOF has signed included lightweight Benny “El Hijo” Madrid (7-1) and bantamweight Bryson Hansen (6-1).
“Our World Series of Fighting family continues to grow, and I can’t wait to see this latest group of guys step into the decagon,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said. “Brian Foster, Benny Madrid and Bryson Hansen are all incredibly talented athletes that I think can make an immediate impact in our promotion, and fans can expect to see them in early 2014.”
“We also signed a new deal with Bryson’s brother, Brensen Hansen, who has looked fantastic in his two appearances for World Series of Fighting. Our roster just keeps looking better and better each day.”
The promotion’s next event will take place December 7th in Vancouver, British Columbia.
