Following Alan Jouban’s memorable, knockout win over Richard Walsh last weekend, he called for a spot on the UFC’s upcoming card in New Orleans, and the welterweight’s received just that.

The promotion has announced that Jouban (11-3) will take on well travelled vet, Brian Ebersole (51-16-1) at the June 6th event, which will be hosted by the Smoothie King Center.

Ebersole will be fighting for the first time since last September when he earned a split decision win over John Howard.

In addition, the UFC has announced that Derrick Lewis will battle heavyweight Shawn Jordan at the upcoming card.

Lewis (12-3) also competed at UFC 184 and stopped Ruan Potts in the second round. Jordan (17-6) is coming off a knockout win over Jared Cannonier in January.

UFC FN 68 will be headlined by a light-heavyweight fight between Ryan Bader and Daniel Cormier.
