UFC’s Darren Elkins to Face Hacran Dias Next
By FCF Staff
It hasn’t taken the UFC long to book Darren Elkins his next fight, following his win at UFC 179, as the featherweight contender has agreed to fight Hacran Dias, December 20th.
The bout will be part of UFC Fight Night 58, which will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Elkins (18-4) competed on October 25th, and worked his way to a split decision win over Lucas Martins. The victory returned the American to the win column, after Elkins was decisioned by Jeremy Stephens in January.
Elkins is currently ranked #12 in the UFC’s 145 division.
Dias (21-3-1), meanwhile, is looking to get back on track, after being decisioned by Nik Lentz and Ricardo Lamas in consecutive fights. The Brazilian fighter had won 9 straight prior to the losses.
UFC FN 58 will feature a middleweight fight between contenders Lyoto Machida and CB Dolloway in the main event.
