Gray Maynard has been booked for his first fight in 2015, as the veteran lightweight will battle Alexander Yakovlev on April 4th.

The fight will be part of UFC Fight Night 63, which will be hosted by Fairfax, Virgnia’s Patriot Center.

Maynard (11-4-1) will be looking to end a three fight losing streak, and most recently, the former #1 contender was stopped by Ross Pearson in August, 2014. The powerful wrestler hasn’t won since June, 2012, when he scored a split decision win over Clay Guida.

Yakovlev (21-6-1) is searching for his first UFC win, as the Russian fighter is coming off decision losses to Demian Maia and Nicolas Musoke since joining the promotion.

UFC FN 63 will feature a pivotal, featherweight bout between Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas in the main event.
