UFC’s Tim Means is Expecting “Great News” at Upcoming USADA Appeal
By FCF Staff
Tim Means has an appeal with USADA scheduled for June 15th, and the UFC welterweight is reportedly expecting it to go well.
The welterweight was notified of a potential anti-doping violation back in February, when Means was scheduled to fight Donald Cerrone. Immediately after Means was pulled form the bout, the noted finisher denied ever knowingly using a performance-enhancing-drug.
Recently MMA Fighting.com reached out Means in advance of his June 15th appeal. The FIT NHB fighter couldn’t get into specifics, but Means did say that he’s “expecting great news on the 15th. USADA found what they were looking for.”
If the 32 year-old’s appeal is denied, Means could be facing a two to four year suspension. Means (25-7-1) is coming off a KO win over John Howard in December.
