ONE Championship has added one of the best female strikers on the planet to its roster, as the promotion’s announced it’s signd Jorina Baars to a contract.

The 30-year-old Dutch fighter has gone 46-0-3 in kickboxing competition, and that includes a win over UFC champ Cris “Cyborg”.  In the press release announcing the signing, Baars said this:

“My favorite quote is ‘Winners never quit, and quitters never win’. I am a warrior, and I’m ready to take my career to the next level. I am here in ONE Championship because the best fighters in the world are here. It is an honor to be among so many legends of martial arts. I want to fight the best in the world and I will fight anyone. If the stars are aligned, I would not mind fighting Cris Cyborg again.”

ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong stated:

She owns the distinction of being a National Champion, a Grand Prix champion, and a two-time World Champion in different promotions. Jorina is just the latest World Champion to join the ONE ranks, and you can definitely expect even more world-class talent to come over in the near future.”

No details regarding Baars’ ONE debut has been announced.
