Vicente Luque Calls For Five-Round Bout With Sean Brady
By FCF Staff
After having a fight with Ian Machado Garry fall through at UFC 296, Vicente Luque is calling for a fight with fellow welterweight contender, Sean Brady.
Luque was booked to fight Garry at the recent event; however, the latter had to withdraw due to pneumonia. Garry has since been re-booked to fight Geoff Neal at UFC 299 on March 9th.
More recently, Luque started campaigning for a main event fight with Brady at the UFC’s March 3oth card.

Luque (22-9-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Rafael dos Anjos in August and has gone 3-2 in his last 5 fights.
Brady (16-1), meanwhile, returned to the win column by submitting Kelvin Gastelum earlier this month. That fight marked the first time Brady had competed since October, 2022, when he was stopped by Belal Muhammad.
Currently, Luque is ranked #9 in the UFC’s welterweight rankings and Brady is #8.
