Marvin Vettori and Israel Adesanya have been trading verbal shots, ever since the two fought back in 2018. But the rivals remained fairly calm when running into each other ahead of their rematch this Saturday, at UFC 263.

Adesanya and Vettori will fight in the headliner of this Saturday’s event. In their first encounter, the now reigning, middleweight champ defeated Vettori via split decision.

EMG Access was on hand to document Adesanya and Vettori seeing each other and exchanging words in the hotel lobby, ahead of their rematch.

Following that, Adesanya spoke with The Mac Life about the encounter, and the upcoming fight.

Adesanya (20-1) is coming off his first, professional MMA loss, as he dropped a decision loss to light heavyweight champ Jan Blachowicz in his last outing. Vettori (17-4-1) recorded a one-sided, decision win over Kevin Holland in his last fight.

UFC 263 is taking place in Glendale, Arizona.
