World Series Fighting Announces Signing of Miguel Torres
By FCF Staff
One of the latest additions to MMA promoting, World Series Fighting, has announced that it has signed former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres. According to a tweet from World Series Fighting, Torres will make his debut for the promotion November 3rd.
The signing is the latest news to surround Torres since he was dismissed by the UFC recently. In late August, Titan FC announced that it had signed the 31 year-old-vet and that he would be fighting on the promotion’s November 2nd event. According to a report from MMA Fighting, however, Torres will no longer compete on the card.
Torres is a considerable and high profile addition to the roster of World Series Fighting, which is expected to formally announce a broadcasting agreement with the NBC Sports Network this week.
The Tristar fighter is coming off a knockout loss to Michael McDonald in April, which dropped his record to 40-5.
