World Series of Fighting has announced several changes to its June 5th card in Edmonton, including the addition of two more bouts.
The promotion has announced that featherweight Hakeem Dawodu (4-0) will take on Chuka Willis (4-0), and that the bout will be part of the night’s main card.
“This fight between two WSOF’s best 145 pound prospects should serve as a fantastic kick off to an incredible night of action,” WSOF President Ray Sefo was quoted saying in the official announcement. “With two titles and the career trajectories of these two unbeaten talents all on the line, WSOF’s 21st event is a pivotal night for at least six of our fighters.”
In addition, the main card has also received a welterweight fight between Mark “Sweet Dreams” Drummond (7-2) and Michael Hill (7-3).
WSOF has also confirmed that lightweight Mukai Maromo has been forced to withdraw from his bout with Stephen Beaumont (7-2) due to injury. Stepping in for Maromo will be Jose Rodriguez (7-3).
Here is the updated line for WSOF 21, which will be hosted by the Edmonton Expo Centre. The main card will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.
