By FCF Staff
Amidst widespread speculation regarding what fights could still be added to UFC 300, Conor McGregor has proposed competing at the historic event.
Several high-stakes, all-star bouts have been booked for UFC 300, but to date, the card’s main event has yet to be announced. Accordingly, the rumor mill regarding what that fight could be has been ongoing.
While McGregor didn’t explicitly reference fighting in the headliner for UFC 300, recently the controversial star tweeted this:

At the beginning of the month, McGregor claimed via social media that he was going to fight Michael Chandler at middleweight on June 29th. The UFC has yet to announce when McGregor will compete in the Octagon next.
McGregor (22-6) hasn’t fought now since July, 2021, when he broke his leg in a rubber match with Dustin Poirier.
