Dana White Tells Paulo Costa he Should Have “Started a YouTube Channel”
By FCF Staff
Recently Paulo Costa alluded to the money YouTube celebrities Jake and Logan Paul have been making fighting, while relaying he’s unhappy with the UFC’s latest offer. In an interview Dana White has done since then, the UFC President fired back at the middleweight contender.
Costa recently reported that he turned down a fight with Jared Cannonier, due to how much the UFC offered for the fight. The powerful middleweight also referenced what “YouTubers” are earning, while expressing his discontent.
Since then, White spoke with TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter, and he had this to say about Costa’s comments (quotes via MMA Junkie).
“You’re in no position to be talking about crazy money after your last performance,” White said, while referencing Costa’s one-sided loss to champion Israel Adesanya in September. “You either want to fight, or you don’t want to fight.”
“You should have started a YouTube channel when you were thirteen years old and built your name up and everything else, and you could have had the fight on Saturday night, but you didn’t”, White added, while alluding to Logan Paul’s exhibition boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
