Demetrious Johnson Says TJ Dillashaw Needs to Get Win at 125 Before Title Shot
By FCF Staff
Following a report that the UFC is hoping to have TJ Dillashaw fight Demetrious Johnson in August, the flyweight champ is relaying he’s not interested, if the belt’s on the line.
Recently UFC President Dana White said that the promotion is targeting Johnson – Dillashaw for August, since Cody Garbrandt can no longer fight on July 8th. The bantamweight champ had been scheduled to fight Dillashaw on that date.
Since then, however, Johnson has sent out these tweets:
Just so the world know I haven't agreed to anything still waiting on my contract to fight @tazmexufc not @TJDillashaw if he wants a title
