Recently Dana White confirmed that Paulo Costa has been sidelined due to surgery, and now Israel Adesanya’s calling for a fight with perennial, middleweight contender, Yoel Romero.

Costa was expected to fight the middleweight champ Adesanya next, as a result of his 5-0 run in the UFC and his win over Romero in August. But, this week, White reported that Costa could be out for eight months due to recent surgery he underwent on his bicep.

Since then, Adesanya tweeted out the image and comments below:

Adesanya (18-0) is coming off a stoppage win over now-former champion Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 earlier this month.
