Following Jon Jones’ recent arrest, authorities reported he had denied assaulting anyone, and now the controversial star has repeated that claim.
The UFC’s former light heavyweight champ was arrested in Las Vegas on September 24th and charged with misdemeanor battery domestic violence. In the subsequent police report, authorities said Jones’ fianceé had blood on her face and clothes following the alleged incident.
The report also stated that Jones had denied he had hit his fianceé, and more recently, the fighter tweeted out the denial below.
“I love how people are imagining the worst possible situation in their heads and making it somehow factual. I never hit my fiance and our daughters were woken up after our confrontation. My daughters didn’t see or hear us arguing.”

The 34-year-old also repeated that he is quitting drinking alchohol.
“That’s really the only thing I care to clarify..outside of that, looking forward to moving forward without alcohol. It’s the first time in my life where I’m actually ready to quit. Glad to have the support of my fiance, family friends and fans.”
