Despite the protests of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Chael Sonnen competed at Metamoris 4, but the retired fighter did not walk away with a victory.

Sonnen took on renowned jiu-jitsu practitioner Andre Galvao in the grappling event’s headliner, and was tapped out by the latter with a rear-naked-choke.

In another of the card’s feature attractions, UFC heavyweight Josh Barnett became the first man in years to submit Dean Lister, by catching the grappling guru with a scarf hold.
