Mickey Gall Responds to News of CM Punk Injury
By FCF Staff
CM Punk has been sidelined with a back injury, and as a result, his UFC debut has been pushed back. But the man who is set to face him, Mickey Gall, isn’t piling on the pro-wrestling star.
Earlier on Wednesday it was announced that Punk will undergo surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back. The aspiring fighter is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks.
Following the news, here’s what Gall had to say on Twitter:
Guys. It's all good. The fight is still on. Minor surgery. I wish @CMPunk a healthy & speedy recovery. I want you at 100%, check that, #200

Gall stopped Mike Jackson in the opening round at UFC FN 82 last weekend to advance to a fight with Punk.
