Olympic Judo Medalist and MMA Prospect Ronda Rousey on Women’s Champ Cris Cyborg: “I’ve Fought Bigger Girls Than Her”


Olympic Judo medalist and undefeated women’s MMA prospect Ronda Rousey (2-0) talks with FCF about her upcoming Strikeforce debut, the future of women’s MMA, life as a vegan and Strikeforce Women’s Middleweight (145 pounds) Champion Cris Cyborg.

The 24-year-old Rousey, who became the first American woman in history to medal in Olympic Judo by capturing the bronze in Beijing, China in 2008, is scheduled to square off with Sarah D’Alelio at 145 pounds in a Strikeforce Challengers bout at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, live on Showtime, on Friday, Aug. 12.

    That’s not a good striking technique… she better hopes she can pull an armbar on Cyborg fast… otherwise, she is toast…

    Totally agree with Rafael…Although…I totally am in Ronda’s corner…That chick is bad ass girl…I hope you just can handle the standing abuse from her then get her ass to the ground. I mean..please dont get me wrong..I SO WANT YOU TO WHOOP HER ASS..ID EVEN TAG TEAM WITH YOU TO BEAT HER….but that is what it might take…real talk!
