Mike Goldberg Posts Statement Following UFC Exit

After closing out his run an announcer for the UFC last month, Mike Goldberg has posted a statement, thanking fans and fighters for their support.
Shortly before UFC 207 on December 30th, UFC President Dana White confirmed that the event would be Goldberg’s last with the promotion. White did not disclose why Goldberg was leaving his position, and during the broadcast there was no formal mention of Goldberg’s pending departure.
Recently, the veteran broadcast posted the statement below on Twitter:

Following UFC 207, Goldberg’s son Kole criticized the UFC for not honoring his father during the broadcast.
