Recently it was revealed that the Ultimate Fighting Championship is facing a multi-million dollar, class action lawsuit, and today it was announced that Cung Le, Jon Fitch and Nate Quarry are among the plaintiffs.

According to a report from Bloody Elbow.com, Le, Fitch and Quarry were named as plaintiffs, during a press conference today to formally announce the lawsuit. Carlos Newton was also in attendance but is not named as a plaintiff. Other fighters, who have yet to be named, are reportedly involved.

The suit alleges that the UFC has violated the Sherman Antitrust Act, by using its market share to create a non-competitive market place, and in turn, diminish fighter incomes.

The suit is reportedly being enacted by the established lawfirms Joseph Saveri Law Firm, Inc, Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, PLLC and Berger & Montague, P.C..

Fitch battled with the UFC over the promotion’s video game deal in 2008, which turned over the fighter’s likeness in perpetuity. Fitch eventually agreed to sign the contract, but following his release last year, the renowned welterweight criticized the UFC for its treatment of fighters.

Quarry, who was one of the first, breakout star from the “The Ultimate Fighter, has also been critical of the promotion’s business practices in the past.

Le remains a UFC fighter, but following his well documented issues with the promotion in recent months, recently he’s called for his release.

Le was accused of using human-growth-hormone following his stoppage loss to Michael Bisping, but after the testing regiment utilized was brought into question, the UFC retracted the fighter’s suspension.
