UFC FN 60: Benson Henderson Taps Out Brandon Thatch in Thrilling Performance
By FCF Staff
Benson Henderson had another memorable, performance tonight at UFC Fight Night 60, as the former lightweight champ became the first man in 11 fights to defeat Brandon Thatch.
Henderson pushed Thatch early on, but in the middle rounds, the latter appeared to be taking the lead as he started to get the better of the striking exchanges. In round four, however, Henderson took the powerful welterweight to the mat and worked his way into a fight ending, rear-naked-choke.
After the bout, Henderson offered to fight welterweight contender Rory MacDonald, when asked if he plans to stay at 170 or return to 155.
