It’s being reported that former UFC lightweight champ, Charles Oliveira, will look to get back on the winning track against Beneil Dariush.

Oliveira (33-9) is coming off a submission loss to now reigning champ, Islam Makhachev, in October. The loss snapped the dangerous finisher’s 11-fight winning streak.

Recently, Oliveira reported via Instagram that he will fight Dariush at the May 6th, UFC 288 card. Club de Las MMA was the first to report the match-up. MMA Junkie is also reporting that the bout has been signed.

Dariush (22-4) worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Mateusz Gamrot in October, and has won eight in a  row.

Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling recently reported that he’s going to fight Henry Cejudo at UFC 288.

No location or venue has been announced yet for UFC 288.
