Report: Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson is Officially Set
By FCF Staff
Following a recent report that Khabib Nurmagomedov has signed a bout agreement to fight Tony Ferguson in April, now it’s being reported that the former interim champ has also signed his contract.
Earlier this week it was reported the UFC’s lightweight champ had signed to fight Ferguson at an April 18th card in Brooklyn. Now ESPN’s been informed by UFC President Dana White and Ferguson’s management that “El Cucuy” has also signed his bout agreement.
Nurmagomedov (28-0) will be fighting for the first time since September, when he tapped out Dustin Poirier at UFC 242.
Ferguson (25-3) last competed in June, when he recorded a TKO win (due to doctor stoppage) over Donald Cerrone at UFC 238.
