By FCF Staff
After a scheduled bout for UFC 226 fell through last month, Max Holloway and Brian Ortega have reportedly, verbally agreed to fight at UFC 231.
Holloway withdrew from UFC 226 just days out, after experiencing concussion like symptoms. Since then, it’s been reported that the featherweight champ is doing better, and sources have told MMA Junkie verbal agreements are in place for the stars to fight December 8th.
UFC 231 will take place in Toronto, Ontario.
Holloway will be fighting for the first time since December, 2017, when stopped former champ Jose Aldo. Ortega is coming off a first round, stoppage win over Frankie Edgar in March.
