Report: UFC Suing Wanderlei Silva For “Intentional Misconduct”
By FCF Staff
Not long after Wanderlei Silva accused the Ultimate Fighting Championship of fixing fights, it looks as though the promotion has launched a lawsuit against the legendary fighter.
For months now, Silva has been highly critical of the UFC, and following the firing of cutman Jacob “Stitch” Duran, the Brazilian claimed he had proof that the promotion rigged bouts.
According to a new report from Bloody Elbow.com, the outlet has learned that the UFC has launched a suit against Silva in Nevada. Currently the only information available regarding the suit is that’s for “intentional misconduct”.
Silva hasn’t fought now since March, 2013, when he stopped Brian Stann. The 39 year-old announced his retirement last year, shortly before he was suspended by the Nevada Commission, for failing to submit to a random drug test.
