UFC 167: Donald Cerrone Fighting Evan Dunham
By FCF Staff
The last two men to be defeated by rising lightweight Rafael dos Anjos will square off on November 16th, as the UFC has announced that Donald Cerrone will fight Evan Dunham at UFC 167. The announcement comes just hours removed from the news that the upcoming card will also feature a heavyweight tilt between Frank Mir and Alistair Overeem.
Dunham lost by decision to dos Anjos at UFC on FX 8 in May, while Cerrone incurred a UD defeat versus the lightweight last week at UFC FN 27. Prior to facing dos Anjos, Cerrone (20-6) worked his way to a decision win over KJ Noons at UFC 160, and Dunham (14-4) scored a split decision over Gleison Tibau at UFC 156. Both lightweights have gone 3-2 in their last five bouts.
UFC 167 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and in the main event, welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre will battle Johny Hendricks.
Other bouts confirmed for the card include Rory MacDonald versus Robbie Lawler, Tyron Woodley versus Josh Koscheck and Chael Sonnen versus Rashad Evans.
