UFC 177 has received a new bout, less than two weeks away from the August 30th event, as Cain Carrizosa will face fellow UFC newcomer Chris Wade.

Carrizosa (6-0) joins the promotion having knocked out Chris Quitiquit in his last outing. The victory took place at Tachi Palace Fights 18 in April. The lightweight fought for Bellator last October, and submitted Juan Quesada in the second round.

Wade (7-1) is coming off consecutive victories over Pat DeFranco and Frankie Perez, after he was decisioned by Ozzy Dugulubgov at WSOF 3 last March. All of Wade’s victories have come under the Ring of Combat banner, where he won the promotion’s lightweight title.

UFC 177 will be hosted by the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, and will feature a rematch between bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao.
