Recently Vitor Belfort relayed that he will fight middleweight champ Chris Weidman at UFC 184, and now the promotion has confirmed that the fight will take place at the February 28th card. In addition, the organization has announced that Ronda Rousey will fight Cat Zingano at the event, and not at UFC 182.

The UFC confirmed just last week that Rousey would defend the bantamweight title versus Zingano on January 3rd. No reason for the change was mentioned in today’s announcement.

UFC 184 will be hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and will be available throughout North America on pay-per-view.

Belfort and Weidman were originally scheduled to fight at UFC 181 on December 6th, however, the champion was forced to withdraw due to a hand injury.
