UFC 194: Jose Aldo Says Saturday Will Not be His Last Fight

Jose Aldo

By FCF Staff

Recently one of Jose Aldo’s sparring partners said he believes the star will retire after UFC 194, but the featherweight champ apparently has no plans to retire yet.

Renowned kickboxer Andy Souwer made headlines this week, by saying he thinks Aldo will retire after facing Conor McGregor this weekend, win or lose. Souwer relayed this after Aldo’s issues with the UFC, regarding his withdrawal from UFC 189 and how his injury was reported, were raised.

Well, in a recent interview with the UFC’s official Brazilian website, Aldo was asked to comment on the situation, and he stated the following:

“This will not be my last fight, I think I still have other opponents to face.”

Aldo also noted in the interview that he plans to finish McGregor either standing or on the ground.

The bout will headlined UFC 194 in Las Vegas on Saturday, in what is expected to be one of the biggest in the promotion’s history.
