Recently the UFC announced that Anthony Johnson – Glover Teixeira and Donald Cerrone – Rick Story are set for August 20th, and now the promotion’s confirmed that Carlos Condit will also fight Demian Maia at UFC 202.

Condit (30-9) hasn’t fought since January, when he lost to welterweight champ Robbie Lawler via split decision. Since the defeat, Condit has said he wasn’t sure if he’d fight again. The well rounded fighter is ranked #5 in the 170 division.

Maia (23-6) is coming off a submission win over Matt Brown in May and has won five straight. The vaunted grappler is ranked #3.

UFC 202 will be headlined by Conor McGregor – Nate Diaz II, and will take place in Las Vegas.
