Ryan Bader and Anthony Johnson are set to battle in the headliner of UFC on FOX 18, and according to Daniel Cormier, “Rumble” will be the victor.

The upcoming fight will take place on January 30th in Newark, New Jersey, and the winner will likely advance to face whomever wins the Cormier – Jon Jones rematch (which has yet to receive a date). During the latest edition of “UFC Tonight“, Cormier was asked for his prediction on Johnson – Bader, and “DC” said this (quote via FOX Sports):

“Rumble Johnson’s power is amazing. His first key is to defend the takedown. If there’s a weakness in his game, it’s being able to take him down and hold him down. You also have to control his power. Sometimes he gets a little anxious and wants to hit with all his power. He’s got to throw more combinations when he punches. If he throws them, he can finish this fight. I believe Bader will make a mistake and Rumble will knock him out, get the finish and look impressive doing it.”

Cormier is coming off a split decision win over Alexander Gustafsson in October, after he tapped Johnson last March and secured the vacant 205 title.
