UFC President Dana White

Ben Askren has been blasting Dana White regularly in recent interviews, and on Wednesday’s edition of “UFC Tonight”, the ZUFFA exec responded.

The ONE FC champ accused White of not caring enough about the UFC’s fighters recently, and made headlines everywhere, when he was cut short by “Inside MMA” while he criticized the UFC President.

Here is some of what White had to say about Askren and his comments on “UFC Tonight” (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release).

“I thought Tito was the dumbest human being alive. This guy is an absolute moron. He’s copying everything that Tito does. You get a lot of attention if you talk about the UFC. If he’s that happy fighting in Asia, then what’s he talking about me for?”

All of this comes not long after White said the promotion might consider signing Askren, if the undefeated fighter continues to win bouts.

Askren laid claim to ONE FC’s welterweight title last month by quickly stopping Nobutatsu Suzuki.
