Cody Garbrandt bested Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 to become the bantamweight champ, and his counterpart with World Series of Fighting, believes “No Love’s” also better than TJ Dillashaw.

Marlon Moraes scored a win over Josenaldo Silva this past Saturday, as the latter injured his knee in the opening round and couldn’t continue. The bout was part of WSOF 34, which took place one day after UFC 207, when Garbrandt decisioned Cruz.

Afterwards, Moraes spoke with “Everything Martial Arts”, and the WSOF champ had this to say (quote via Bloody Elbow):

“I was very surprised with the level that MMA is in now,” Moraes said. “I was very surprised at how good T.J. Dillashaw, Cody Garbrandt [vs.] Dominick Cruz, how good was their fight, you know? Even my coach, [Anderson Franca], we were talking about it, and [we’re] like, ‘man these fights are good, these guys are good!’ but I am on the same level.”

“I think his boxing is good,” Moraes said, while referring to Garbrandt. “I see him now as a little bit better than Dillashaw.”

Dillashaw earned a UD win over John Lineker at UFC 207, and many believe he will be booked to face Garbrandt in his first title defense.
