Bellator 244: Vadim Nemkov Takes Out Ryan Bader to Win LHW Crown

Vadim Nemkov continues to roll through Bellator’s light heavyweight division, as the Russian fighter stopped Ryan Bader on Friday to win the promotion’s title.
Nemkov stunned Bader badly in round two with a head kick. The now former champ-champ tried to recover, but Nemkov continued to batter him with punches and the bout was stopped.
The 28 year-old Nemkov has won seven straight and carries a record of 12-2. Bader (27-6) had gone undefeated in eight straight bouts prior to Friday.
