Cody Garbrandt Blasts Henry Cejudo Following News of Planned Dominick Cruz Fight
By FCF Staff
Recently Dana White confirmed that the UFC is working on a bout between Henry Cejudo and Dominick Cruz, and since then, Cody Garbrandt’s had some fiery words for the champion.
Cejudo was originally booked to defend the bantamweight title against Jose Aldo at UFC 250 on May 9th, in Brazil. But, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the UFC is now hoping to have Cejudo fight Cruz on that date, presumably in the United States.
Since word of the plans surfaced, Garbrandt fired these comments at Cejudo.
Triple C stands For Triple Coward you chose a guy who hasn’t fought in over 4 years
@HenryCejudo

Cruz hasn’t fought now since December, 2016, when he lost the bantamweight title to Garbrandt via decision.
Garbrandt was booked to fight Raphael Assuncao last month on March 28th, but was forced out due to kidney issues (the card was also postponed due to the pandemic).
