Following comments from Dana White, in which he claimed Jon Jones is asking for an “absurd amount” of money to fight Francis Ngannou, “Bones” is accusing the UFC President of lying.

Recently Jones called for a bout with the heavyweight contender, and not long after, he claimed the UFC was unwilling to pay him more for the contest. While talking with ESPN more recently about why the fight hasn’t been signed, White claimed Jones wants an “absurd amount of money” for the Ngannou fight.

This prompted Jones to tweet out the following comments.

“It’s interesting to just sit here and watch your boss lie to the camera like this. We never discussed any increase in pay. Immediately the conversation was that I already made enough. I never made a number offer.”

“If you’re not going to change my contract for the heavyweight move, at least have the decency to be honest with the fans.”

“I was over the situation, but I’m not gonna sit back and allow Dana to lie to the fans. I never asked for an absurd amount of money. That’s bullsh*t”

The light-heavyweight champ Jones (26-1, 1 NC) is coming off a tightly contested, decision win over Dominick Reyes in February.
