The main card for UFC Fight Night 59 is nearing completion, as the promotion has announced that verbal agreements are in place for Uriah Hall to face Costas Philippou and for Jorge Masvidal to battle Norman Parke.

The upcoming event will be hosted by Boston’s TD Garden on January 18th, and will feature Conor McGregor taking on fellow featherweight contender, Dennis Siver.

Philippou (13-4) is coming off a first round, KO win over Lorenz Larkin, and Hall (9-4) decisioned Thiago Santos in his last outing. The middleweights fought once before in 2011, under the Ring of Combat banner, and Philippou earned a majority decision win.

Masvidal (28-8) earned a decision victory over lightweight James Krause in his last fight, while Parke (20-2-1) stopped Naoyuki Kotani.

Recently the UFC also confirmed that Benson Henderson will fight Eddie Alvarez in the night’s co-mainevent.
