UFC on FOX 18: Anthony Johnson Quickly Puts Away Ryan Bader
By FCF Staff
Anthony Johnson needed very little time to end Ryan Bader’s five fight winning streak at UFC on FOX 18, as the light-heavyweight knocked out his fellow contender in under 90 seconds.
Bader shot in for a single leg takedown moments into the bout, but Johnson easily defended, and moved to his back. Bader attempted to counter with a kimura, but Johnson escaped, moved into mount and began firing down punches. The blows left Bader unconscious.
In the headliner, Ben Rothwell continued his rise up the heavyweight ranks, as he submitted Josh Barnett with a beautifully timed, guillotine choke in round two.
